1922

Charles LeSieur and his brother J.Maurice get into partnership to offer funeral services in St-Jean-sur –Richelieu.

1944

Charles LeSieur leaves St-Jean-sur-Richelieu to get established in Granby where he buys with his son Jacques A. the Croteau funeral Home located on the corner of Paré and Principale street.

1954

A first in Granby, J.A. LeSieur buys a building in Granby on Notre- Dame street in order to implant a new branch.

1966

Gilles LeSieur makes his entrance in the enterprise after classical studies.

1970

Construction of a new funeral home and selling of the Notre-Dame street branch.

1975

Closing of the fist funeral home bought in 1944 and centralization of all operations in the funeral residence.

1976

Gilles becomes owner by incorporating the company under the name «J.A. LeSieur Inc.».

1987

• Construction of a new funeral residence located at 60 Boulevard Pie IX.
• Winning of the “ Best services enterprise” award given by the regional Chamber of Commerce during its Gala Mérite-Action.
• Retirement of Jacques LeSieur

1993

Eric LeSieur joins the family business after a three year course in thanatology.

1996

Turning of the funeral residence at 60 Boulevard Pie IX into a funeral complex.

1997

« Best services enterprise » award given by the regional Chamber of Commerce at its “Distinction Prizes” gala award.

1999

Introduction of the first funeral arch which is used for urn transportation.

2003

First funeral home in Quebec to offer a death insurance policy to its families.

2005

The LeSieur funeral complex offer the possibility to attend funerals via its internet site, all this without charge.

2008

Expansion of the columbarium with 250 new spaces, a new coffee area and new meeting rooms for families.

2009

Launch of the ark funeral that carriers use to go to the cemetery.

2011

Opening of the funeral home from Waterloo to a new building and renovated with modern design.
